MTX-M2M has re
cently launched a new device – the MTX-GTW. An innovative gateway with unlimited power, this modem is a compact yet powerful terminal, containing a complete set of wired and wireless interfaces and powered by an ARM9 processor module with embedded Linux and JAVA VM. Based on the previous MTX-GATEWAY device, this new modem will help you save money and space, without compromising on performance.
This modem can be used in infinite M2M and IoT (Internet of Things) applications thanks to the fact that it contains plenty of powerful interfaces which include Ethernet, three serial ports, WiFi, 2G–3G–4G connectivity, USB OTG, RS232/RS485/RS422, CAN, and GPIOs. If this wasn’t enough, you can also choose from the following optional add-ons: Bluetooth LE, Zigbee and GPS/GLONASS and WiFi (B/G/N). It embeds an industrial Freescale i.MX28 (TQMa28) module (ARM9@454MHz, RAM@128MB, FLASH@4GB, EEPROM@32KB). Also, it has an internal mini-PCIe slot which can accommodate any communication board you need: LTE & GPS, HSPA+ & GPS, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 or Bluetooth Low Energy. The MTX-GTW device is manufactured following the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Quality certifications, and is RoHS and WEEE complaint.
All this technology in a device the size of a cigarette pack weighing no more than 190g! It also offers easy integration, and thanks to its many powerful interfaces, it avoids the need for further hardware components.

MTX-3G-JAVA device receives AT&T approval
The powerful MTX-3G-JAVA device has recently received approval from the US network operator AT&T.
Based on new EHS6 Java possibilities such as MIDlet parallel execution, FOTAP, greater memory and higher speeds, MTX-3G-JAVA can be used in many M2M and IoT scenarios and applications. It is Java programmable and flexible according to your requirements. Its variable characteristics include GPS/GNSS, an internal Ion-Li 1650mA/h battery, an Ultra Low Power mode, and an RS485 BUS interface and with an RF card inside (Bluetooth, ISM, Wi-Fi, W-MBUS).
MTX-GATEWAY device receives PTCRB approval
The powerful MTX-GATEWAY device has recently received approval from the CTIA PTCRB certification body, tested by the 7Layers laboratory in Germany, as well as from the US network operator AT&T.

This approval shows that the device is complaint with the cellular network standards, meaning it cannot be blocked from networks and guaranteeing functionality.
