Our MTX-3G-JAVA modem can be ordered with a Bluetooth module inside, which allows vending machines to have a second wireless connection to one or several maintenance employees.  They simply need to have an Android Smartphone and an application that uses internal Bluetooth to make Serial Port Profile connections to the vending machine. All telemetries can be also sent by a 3G network data connection to a central server.
